"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

As it appears the alphabet has just begun its latest round, I would propose sticking Alphabet Associations - Part the First and starting Alphabet Associations - Part the Second (complaint about Part I and Part II sounding like film sequels). Possibly no need to stick Part the Second as it's no more likely to drop out of sight than the original one. All agreed?
It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Gosh what a relief not to have to go and put the kettle on while the thread opens!

                    - although it was Pulcinella's celebrations today that were in mind when I set the puzzle Care to provide the Coleslaw before venturing onto the wild and rugged C?

Z323: Purcell: Come, ye Sons of Art, Birthday Ode for Queen Mary, 1694

Der Zwerg (The Dwarf), opera by Zemlinsky based on Oscar Wilde's The Birthday of the Infanta

Stravinsky: Greeting Prelude, written for the 80th Birthday of Pierre Monteux, and based on the tune "Happy Birthday"

How about a C to link one Johann (who wrote six for the organ), another Johann (who wrote one for the violin), and a third Johann (who wrote one for harpsichord).

I'd forgotten it was a Leap Year! I added your name as you'd recently mentioned on another Thread that it was soon; just meant "everybody", really
