            Those are the other two. They were part of an extended family of organ builders in Schmiedefeld in the second half of the eighteenth century, including a Johannes Wagner, the two sons of Johann Michael (i) [Johann Michael (ii) and Johann Friedrich], Johann Michael (iii), and Johann Gottlob [not the same one as in the question].

            The Johann Gottlob Wagner in the question worked in Dresden.

            After Wagner at such length I invite Anton to offer his choice of X, Y, Z, or A.

              As Anton appears to be functioning on a US-based body clock at the moment for some reason, we expect a puzzle momentarily!
