Not Auric, mercia (hope you didn't mind me pinching your O? ) and neither of those Maxes, anton.

        All three are composers.

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.

No! Sorry! This is a bit of a wild goose chase, isn't it?!

Let me assist - it's hard work for a Sunday!

            Arnold Bax
            Max Bruch
            Georges Enescu

O, can you solve it now?

                Bingo, anton

Probably no need for much Anna's Law shennanigans...

Bax, Bruch and Enescu all wrote an Octet (the latter two just for strings, Bax for horn, piano and string sextet).

It's been a while since we had an anton letter!

                Time for a P?

Just because I'm not here it doesn't mean that I'm not watching for Law Breakers ...... I've been all round the houses and back again searching for a linking O (whilst catching up with Corrie - is Sunita seriously unbalanced? and yesterday's paper) Well done anton, and it's been far too long since you set a question.

How is Mrs F coping with the tension?

Probably not a great deal of retail therapy options, though...
