Blimey my puzzles are usually over in a flash, so to speak

Let's recap - you've got 'bridge' and 'byrd' - how can you capitalise on these so that they become more musical?

Where is that Poseidon from ??!?

You've come up with a ammy (btw just took your name in vain on the Saturday Classics thread )

        Bridge... Byrd....
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
        Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

          B-b-bingo Calibs!

So Bridge & Byrd connected by a P? - title of something they wrote, perhaps?

And your persecuted Jew? - not British but maybe just across the water?

                      Bravissimo Calibs!

I'll concede that the last part is sneaky - Dreyfuss' Phantasm has recorded Byrd's complete consort music to great acclaim

william byrd, byrd, bird, consort, complete consort music, phantasm, phatasm, viol, english, linn, lin, records, linn records, linn recods, studio, studio master, studio mater, 24, 24bit, 24 bit

So who's going for the Q/R?

I feel a bit of a fraud but I'll have a quack at a q... Give me a little time. I need a drink first after that far-from-amateur effort from No. 51 ! Not yet sure if it's coffee or gin

                            Good puzzle though

Tinkle your mental ivories with this one: a Q please to link three pianists:

                              - one whose composition of études was hardly a major achievement
                              - one whose composition with a libertarian theme featured on a nocturnal example of public transport
                              - one whose concerto début took place when he was barely into his teens

Ooooer 'composition of études was hardly a major achievement' = minor key études? Alkan?

'one whose composition with a libertarian theme featured on a nocturnal example of public transport' = Rszewski variations on 'The People United Will Never Be Defeated'?

                                = Kissin?

How am I doing so far, Calibs?
