I have this Tod Handley 3 CD collection.

Goossens music is underrated and neglected, in my opinion.

I have this set too. As you probably know Goossens is yet another Stanford pupil at the RCM. It took me quite a while to warm to Goossens's music, however, I do enjoy playing now it from time to time. I have also really enjoyed the Goossens disc of the 2 violin sonatas on Naxos; well worth discovering.

I am following the Chandos cycle, as you might have seen), and yes Sir Eugene is a most underrated and neglegted composer! He was knighted too!!!

Not heard the Naxos, it's supposed to be good.

to know all of the music some folks round here do, ER, you need the lifespan of an Old Testament close relative of Abraham, the pockets of Bill Gates richer older bother, and the attention span of a crack team of elite chess players.
