Exactly your doctorship .... all wrote Romantic symphonies as did his Greatness ......

That means it falls to you to raise the Standard with a cunning S ........

            It needs a proper Resolution:

            Aterberg: Romantic Symphony
Chavez: Symphony No. 4 Sinfonía Romántica
            Milhaud: Symphony No. 11 Romantique
            Pacta sunt servanda !!!

Well, the obvious answer is Symphonies, Nielsen's 3rd, LvB's 3rd, and Mahler 6/ Schubert 4. From LvB 3, did wonder also about S = Es = Eb but that didn't get me very far
I keep hitting the Escape key, but I'm still here!

Yes, Mahler, LVB & Nielsen's. But what about them?

No, you don't need to do that to Score

I've probably headed off in the wrong direction, having discovered that all 3 symphonies also have an Italian name : Sinfonia Tragica, Sinfonia Eroica and Sinfonia Espansiva (unless that's the heading on the score?)

Is Score a clue? The Eroica's score has a Scratched-out dedication, Mahler 6 had a famous Shift-round of movements, Nielsen 3 - um, can't find anything Suitable at all!
