It was indeed a corpse of a question, Mercs.

I too would welcome an L from Vinteuil

I am surprised, with your Welsh connections, you have not come across the word twp and what it means. It's a common South Walian word to describe someone who is dull or stupid, or bit of a screw loose. No, I'm not displeased with you but my K actually fits your clues perfectly, I will save it in case I ever have to set a K!
Now, as sensible mercs says, anyone going to set an L? I will be offline now, probably until the morn.

Yes, stupid, like. Simple, dull. What you blokes sniggering at?
Edit: I forgot, I bought Private Eye during lunchtime today, cover had pic of Rupert, headline was "Getting Away with Murdoch" and speech bubbles said 'Why can't you remember anything?' with response 'I don't recall'

Goodness, I haven't read PE for years! Would Ammy be prouid of me?

You reckon that would be OK - is that on the grounds that noone has stepped up for 90 mins or so, or is it really your turn but a bit of SB has set in?

OK I confess I'm buying time whilst thinking up an L!

Fair enough an L to link Marches, Glimmer and Lotte.

SB = setters block, a condition I think exclusive to me where one can't think of a question
