I think it was inevitable once people had started talking about Bus stations.

There being no longer any such thing as British Railways probably didn't help.

"Human nature" - when used as an explanation, generalisation, or excuse for all that is wrong in human affairs.

"God" - used as a term with innumerable meanings by people of different religious persuasions, everyone one of them right.

BTW Thropplenoggin, what is this in Latin?
          I've been wondering that.

I can't work it back to any Greek or Latin construction I know.

But how do you ask for your ice cream? 'Two boules', perhaps.

But we've had bus stations since time immoral. Train station is a recent abomination.

I had a student in Ireland who would always suggest that we go for a
"couple of scoops" after the sessions

so I have no problem with the phrase at all as there's nothing like a couple of scoops after a hard day's composition (black Irish version)

The one in Bournemouth is a 'Transport Interchange'!

'Human error' : is there another kind?

Also 'mistake' as used by MPs who have fiddled their expenses.
